Cindy Jo is an Academy Award winning Sound Editor. Need we say more! Her students will receive short profiles prior to the class which they will fill out and return. Each student will have their own individual book selections to work on in class based on the information received in the profiles. No other coach puts this much effort and attention into tailoring the work in class to each individual student!!!! How Much Money Can You Make As An Audiobook Reader?
Readers generally make between $228.00 to $255.00 per finished hour. There is a beginners rate of around $150.00 per finished hour for the first few books you read with a publisher. Each publisher has its own contract with SAG-AFTRA so the rates will vary. If you are non-union, you should still make these rates. A finished hour is an hour of recorded material after it has been edited. Depending on your efficiency and the complexity of the material, you can possibly record two or more finished hours of material in a day's time!!
